Visit the spectacular Kanangorok Hot Springs in the middle of the Kidepo Valley National Park. Getting there takes a while, but that’s more than okay. After all, you’ll be driving through a beautiful national park with animals like giraffes, zebras, buffalos, kudus, lions and leopards. After a challenging walk through long grasses and thorny bushes, you can relax and marvel at the outstretched grassy plains and surrounding mountain ranges, and of course the sight of the 50°C water flowing between dark-coloured rocks. Some locals believe the water to have healing powers, which is why they bathe in it (we wouldn’t recommend though).

De varma källorna i Kanangorok ligger 11 km bortom Kidepo-floden vid gränsen till Sudan och det är en härlig plats att sitta och titta på bergen bortom gränsen.
