Welcome to The Space, Maun’s creative heartbeat. Picture an art gallery inside a shipping container: compact, colourful, and brimming with imagination. That’s exactly what The Space is all about. Founded in 2019 by a collective of artists from the Okavango Delta, it was born from a simple idea; to create a sustainable income by doing what they love most, and invite others into that process.Today, it’s a vibrant artists hub where creativity meets community. Tap into your own artistic side and join a hands-on workshop in painting and watercolour, wire art from recycled materials, upcycling and eco-art, or clay and pottery basics. No experience required! Sessions last around two hours and run Monday to Saturday, but need to be booked ahead.
